What Was I Doing Last Week?
Before I begin detailing what I am working on this weekend, I thought I’d take a bit to talk about what its like coming back from a week on the road. I get my coffee and enter the garage.
The light are off and nothing really seems familiar. I need to find my camera. I start searching the garage, then my office, then my bedroom, then the kitchen. I cannot seem to find the camera anywhere. Eventually I find it buried under junk on my workbench.
Now that I’ve retried it, I can start figuring out where I left off. I take stock of the scene and try to figure things out based on what I see.
Looking closer I realize that last week Michelle came out to the garage and told me that in 10-minutes we were leaving to meet some friends for dinner. I find evidence of that. I am usually pretty neat and try to throw stuff away.
I even find parts laying around in places I don’t normally put parts.
After searching around I find something that catches my eye. A gusset that I suddenly remember was the last thing I did before knocking off last week.
Once I see the gusset it dawns on me what I was doing and what comes next.
