Longerons are Done
I have found a new “most hated” task during building…bending the longerons. All tolled it probably took about 3-hours to do both of them. It is really a process that should be accomplished by a caveman with a club. The techniques used for bending a very crude, but you are asked to create precision bends with these methods. One of them came out very nicely, the other…well its a tractor not a space shuttle. I’ll let you see if you can figure out which is which when you ride in it.
I know, its a rather underwhelming photo, but it’s all I got. Once you’re done with them they go back into storage. So they are back up in the attic where they came from.
